FLORICOT belongs to a group of medicines called ster oids.

Fludrocortisone, a mineralocorticoid is prescribed for the treatment of salt-losing adrenogenital syndrome and Addisons disease. Fludrocortisone lowers urinary elimination of fluids and sodium from the levels.

Indications: Acute adrenal insufficiency.

Chronic adrenal insufficiency (addisons disease).

Congenital adrenal hyperplasia (adrenogenital syndrome).
